June and July are some of the best months to visit Koh Samui due to its dry weather, and sunny skies. June 2024

3. Full Moon Party (Koh Phangan) (June 21)
While not on Koh Samui itself, the legendary Full Moon Party on nearby Koh Phangan is a must-attend event. Dance, music, and beach vibes await! There are numerous boat operating daily between the two islands, do check book early in advance through the operators or your hotel’s concierge !
4. Bangkok Airways Samui Half Marathon (June 23)
Lace up your running shoes and join the Samui Half Marathon with many other local and international runners! Run along palm-fringed roads and enjoy stunning coastal views.
5. Pride Nation International Music Festival (June 24-29)
Enjoy a week of art installations, parties, photo spots, and a music festival featuring DJs Sick Individuals, Rave Republic and more on the finale day from 5pm local time. Tickets are available at local 7-Eleven stores !
July 2024
1. Asana Bucha Day (July 20)
A Buddhist holy day, Asana Bucha Day is marked by temple visits, candlelit processions, and merit-making. Experience the spiritual side of Koh Samui on this day !
2. Full Moon Party (Koh Phangan) (July 22)
Another chance to party under the full moon! Hop on a boat to Koh Phangan and dance the night away on the beach. Don’t be shy to talk to one of our friendly concierge team members to arrange a boat during your stay with us !
3. H.M. King’s Birthday (July 28)
A national holiday in Thailand, this day honors King Maha Vajiralongkorn. You’ll find celebrations, parades, and cultural events all around the island !
